Vegetarian Fast Food (EAT YOUR VEGGIES)

What? No Fast Food Vegetarian drive thru yet?

Every fast food restaurant worth its weight in gold serves a predominately carnivorous menu to it's eager and paying customer... but what about those would be customers that are vegetarians? I my self sometimes binge on such a diet, and in those times I find that one must be extra crafty.

Things to keep in mind: Fries should never really be part of your purchase unless of course you are looking to increase carbs, and you burn them quickly!

If though you do order them remember that the fries are sometimes mixed with chicken amino acids as a preservative, and this is something that is a hit and miss from one drive thru to another, so best keep away.

Some places like Burger King do offer a "Veggie" burger, but it's cooked on the same grill as the beef patties, and in the same oil, so the taste will be different than the morning stars you're used to at home, and for hose TRUE VEGETARIANS you may very well feel ill after eating it, be wary.

Our Fast Food Nutrition Guide may already have some meatless meals due to their being the healthier choice, but none of these are approved as "Vegan" substitutions, so please keep this in mind. I think if you are creative enough there is no fast food joint on earth that you couldn't get a somewhat decent meal without any meat. I think my favorite place is Taco bell for nothing more then their all bean choices. Most hamburger places will make one heck of a tomato burger, just ask them to add a few extra tomatoes, drop the meat, keep the lettuce, pickles and onions, light mayo and you're on your way. Don't get discouraged when all of your co workers go out to lunch and you forgot your peas and carrots!

Become the Macguyver of the veggie drive thru!
